e-i-g-h-t. 8. no longer 7. sigh.

Today is the day. My little girl turns 8. She is hugely excited about it and has been counting down the days. Yesterday she kept saying: guess what? Tomorrow I'm 8.

And even though tomorrow never comes, somehow it did and it's her birthday.

Dear Rosie,

Happy 8th birthday my love.

Eight is going to be such an amazing year for you. You are finally ready to spread your wings a little bit.  Your confidence is growing and you are finally able to show the world the real you, the brave new you and the funny you.
You sense of humour is growing too and you just reduce me to a haep of gigles with some of your one liners.
You are, without a shadow of a doubt, the most loving little Pickle a Mama could have and with you it is only a matter of minutes between hugs.

Every year, as is our tradition I interview you with regard to the upcoming year. This is what you had to say about turning 8

  2. Happy birthday Rosie!! So cute that she named her stuffed giraffes after your sister and BIL. And no pet for her birthday...how heartbreaking. :(
