I'm quite sure this isn't news: my father is a fisherman. He fishes exclusively for trout and salmon and occasionally when on holiday somewhere will go for big game fish. He now has a private fishery where as far as I am concerned, the world just disappears and it has become one of my most favourite places to be.
My brother in law, Andy, is also a member so on Thursday we decided it was time to show Jakie the quiet side of English life and head to Newton Fishery. No words are needed for this post just these photos of what, I swear, is one of the worlds best kept secrets.
