Today her efforts were recognised and she brought home a letter:
At first she wasn't sure if she wanted to go through with it as she wasn't sure if she would be able to give it 100% as she will not miss swimming and will not fall behind on her work. I suggested she give it a shot and if it is too much she can step down. I know that she has to give 100% in all she does and with, studying, swimming. volunteering, and now this, it's a lot. But, I also know she can do it.
Way to go kidlet, keep it up.
Congrats to your sweet girl! What an honor.

ReplyDeleteWell done, Lily. For those of us who are less intelligent (and English), what does it involve?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Lily! I was a member of the National Honor Society, (and it looked good on my college scholarship applications!). I know you can handle it, kudos to you on being recognized and admitted!
