fore !

I cannot believe I am about to write these words. Summer vacation is coming to an end. What's worse is that due to the kiddies dedication to swimming we haven't done an awful lot since getting back from England. I am now on a mission to fill each day with something that counts.

Rosie loves golf and asked to play the other day so play we did.

It was hot, even though it doesn't look it as the clouds were starting to roll in.
The course was deserted...probably the heat.
Now that I have Vals attention I must confess that one of the local municipal golf courses also has a really lovely Mini Golf Course. Hah, sorry! As many times as we tell her she isn't playing Golf, but Mini Golf, it just doesn't stick. I googled mini golf as I really didn't want to go to one of those tacky little tourist traps and this place popped up. It was lovely, albeit with a feels like temp of 102, a tad warm but the holes were short and sweet, nothing to fancy so we were in and out in an hour.

Pretty setting, especially considering it is right on US1
Manic golfer
a break from the heat in a little cave
Note the socks: one shark, one tiger.
It's all about the shoes.
I realised after this photo that I had never shown her how to hold a club and how to stand. Once that was remedied she took off like a pro.
Needed and accepted NO HELP
I just love this photo.
I can't wait to go back here again in the cooler months.

  1. What fun! Although I would never venture outside in that heat. I would melt.

  4. You had my attention with the title of the post! Really "cool" pics! Especially the last one....I love the way you captured the water. I could picture that one blown up on canvas.
